Great article. I’ve been wanting to kill quite a few of my projects, and after reading your take on it, I’m definitely doing so asap.

I’ve always gone back and forth with keeping an archive of some sort. What are your thoughts on keeping past work that is still good?

Hey Rob!

I love the humor in your articles, especially this one with all the talk about loving the piece then shooting it in the back of the head. Haha Hilarious. They’re also very informative as well. My only problem is that I wish I could see more of them, but I know how busy a designer’s life is. Keep up the good work!

Apparently I’m late to the party but I had to let you know Krispy Kreme and condom wrappers showing up in the same article made my day. Nicole is right, KK donuts taste like the dreams of a baby unicorn.

Very nice article!

A year back, I killed off several terrible pieces of website design work I have done and now I’m left with 4 good pieces. I’m trying to add onto since it seems like my portfolio is bare, but I’m very happy that I got rid of those other pieces.

PS: You made me miss Krispy Kreme. We used to have one in my town, but they left. I’m sad and hungry now D:
