Macaws have to be pretty high up on the list of ridiculously beautiful animals. It was fascinating and exciting to see them up close in Costa Rica. They’re actually quite loud and obnoxious to each other, always playing / biting / squawking. I saw a lot of these Scarlet Macaws and a few Blue & Gold Macaws as well.
