Kidnap The Sandy Claws, Beat Him With A Stick!

I’ve always loved the gorgeous landscapes and architecture in Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. So I spent a lot of time this fall creating an awesome fan poster of the art for Halloween Town and Christmas Town. It’s a symmetrical design where each town mirrors each other, they each have their own building styles, town halls, clocks, gates, colors, etc. And Jack Skellington is riding his creepy sleigh across the sky to Christmas Town. I made sure to feature the hinterlands area in the middle with the secret holiday doors, one of my favorite little bits of the movie.

This poster is full of detail, and is a 3 foot wide screen print on Madero Beach French Paper. It’s big, it’s awesome, and it’s a perfect holiday gift (for multiple holidays!). So if you’re a fan of Christmas, Halloween, or just Tim Burton movies, snag one of these limited edition screen prints at Bottleneck Gallery‘s website.

What is an ‘Artist’s Proof’? Artist’s Proofs are the exact same print as the Main Edition, printed on the same paper at the same time. But they are my personal collection of prints, and usually comprise just 5 to 20% of the total print run. The noticeable difference is a lower edition quantity and the marking ‘AP’ written next to the number. Both the Main Edition and the Artist’s Proof are signed by the artist.
